Hi, I’m Lucy Genda, a graphic designer based in Durham, North Carolina. I graduated from Appalachian State University in 2022 with a B.S. in Public Relations and a minor in General Business, and have since carved my own creative path into the world of design.

I'm a self-taught designer with a strong foundation in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Figma. My design education comes from a mix of online courses, industry resources, and a deep dive into the kind of textbooks most people only skim once. I believe good design is equal parts thoughtful, strategic, and scroll-stopping.

Originally from Charlotte, I made my way to the Triangle after college and have worked in a range of marketing roles that sharpened my skills in both storytelling and strategy. Today, I design under the name Genda Digital + Design, helping brands communicate clearly, confidently, and beautifully.
